Flandre Scarlet from Touhou series.... i think its the best work i have ever done :3 simply because its 100% mine... i didnt use any reference during making that picture... Finally a wrk that i can call (try calling) my very first own fan work. Its still a bit messy but ive put a lot of effort into making that so i hope you will enjoy it like i did... so here for you Flandre-chan.. rejoice ;3

Okay, I think really all you would need done here is just a little burning and dodging. I assume that you use the pen tool to color in right? What you want to use is the tools that are located right above the pen if you are using CS4 What you want to do is before you flatten the layers, try burning the areas where there would be shade, like the hair lines, and in the dead center of the hair, use the Dodge tool to make highlights.

I'm not sure how else to describe how to use them, but If you want, I could make a video of how myself working on Meek. But it will be a while before I get to her...
